My Father in law Michael B. Stachnik worked for Snyder Candy .Company when he was 14 years of age. He worked at the Company from 1920 to approx 1943
when he moved his family to Thorp, Wi He came up with the steps to insure a consistant rum flavor for the Butter Rum hard candy. . For his findings/research he was given an extra one week pay check My Father in law went back to work
at the Snyder Candy Company for one winter to earn extra money and help pay bills on the farm- after this one winter he stayed on the farm and dedicated all
his time to the farm. While on the farm his oldest daughter recalled 1-2 people
from Snyder Candy Co. coming out to the farm to visit him. My father in law
really enjoyed working at Snyder Candy Co and spoke highly of the Company.
If you have any other questions you may contact me – and any other info on the
Company would be greatly appreciated.by me and the family.
Thank you
Mary
