Hello. My name is Rich Sailsbury. I live in Kansas City, Mo. My wife is a buyer and seller of antiques. In a garage sale she ran across a display case from the turn of the last century or before, for the display of Wahl Eversharp Products. If I may have your email address I would love to send you photos of the case to see if you think it might fit into your museum.
Hi Rich, thanks for the message! We’d certainly love to see the display case. You can email photos to contact@madeinchicagomuseum.com
Actually they were located at 1800 West Roscoe, Chicago. The beautiful building is still there and was developed into condos a number of years ago.
Thank you for this great website.
A friend just shared his findings, with me, from long ago.. a tiny gold and red box. Which, after examining the tiny box, had real lead for pencils.. really cool piece of history..
