Does anyone remember chocolate toddy from the 1950s I think the wander co. Made it.
My husband’s uncle worked for the co. In villa park Illinois. I have several commemorative pieces from him. Also remember them making Poppycock with popcorn and nuts. Similar to cracker jack.
I remember hearing the Ovaltine Co. whistle blown at 8:00 Am, 12 Noon and 4:30 PM , but was there a 12:30 PM whistle also? It seems these were normal start and stop times.

My grandfather worked there and also directed an employee orchestra. He brought home a wonderful”toddy” sold in cans.
We lived a few blocks from the large plant from 1977 to 1989.
It closed and relocated, Bldg. now houses many rental units and condos.
